Some college professors are taking the term “tree-hugger” to new extremes: They’re actually trying to have sex with trees. So much so that the strange phenomenon was the subject of a new academic paper published in Feminist Theory. Written by Professor Lauran Whitworth of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the “ecosexual” trend is apparently increasing in popularity.
Whitworth defines the term “ecosexual” as, “1. A person that finds nature sensual, sexy. 2. A new sexual identity. 3: Person who takes the Earth as their lover.” Whitworth goes on to note that while some environmental activists merely advocate using earth-friendly sex items, like fair trade condoms and chemical-free lubricants, “ecosexuals” take things up a notch by encouraging people to have sex with “nature itself.” Some even believe that having sex with the Earth will “save” it.
Ironically enough, ecosexuality is rising in popularity predominantly in feminist circles. Aren’t feminists supposed to be pro-consent? At last check, trees still cannot talk — and therefore, cannot consent to sex with humans.
Are feminists supporting the rape of trees and other non-sentient parts of the Earth ? It sure looks like it.
In the paper, Whitworth included a description of one “ecosexual” person’s first “experience” with nature:
In the spirit of carnival, ecosexuality embraces degradation and decomposition. Sprinkle describes her first encounter with redwood trees at Yosemite National Park: ‘I loved the scent of the trunk, like vanilla mixed with soil. I have a strong memory of coming across a redwood that had fallen over from a storm. I walked around off the trail and peeked at its freshly exposed roots. So soft, so sensuous, so sexy! I had to touch them.’
Ecosexuality isn’t just the subject of an academic paper; there’s even a manifesto. Written by Elizabeth Stephens and Annie Sprinkle, the manifesto declares that ecosexuals take on the Earth as their lover, and they make love to it.
“We are aquaphiles, teraphiles, pyrophiles and aerophiles. We shamelessly hug trees, massage the earth with our feet, and talk erotically to plants. We are skinny dippers, sun worshippers, and stargazers. We caress rocks, are pleasured by waterfalls, and admire the Earth’s curves. We make love with the Earth through our senses. We celebrate our E-spots. We are very dirty,” so reads the manifesto.
“For some of us being ecosexual is our primary (sexual) identity, whereas for others it is not. Ecosexuals can be GBTQI, heterosexual, asexual, and/or other. We invite and encourage ecosexuals to come out. We are everywhere. We are polymorphouse and pollen-amourous,” it continues.
In 2016, the city of Melbourne, Australia, became home to the first ecosexual bath house. Designed by Ian Sinclair and Loren Kronemyer, the ecosex house was installed in the Melbourne Royal Botanical Garden, as part of a Next Wave Festival.
The sex house even provided visitors with tiny condoms for their fingers.
The left-wing just gets more delusional and deranged by the day; these so-called progressives may think they can save the planet by rubbing tree bark but that doesn’t make it a reality. As Mike Adams recently reported, the list of insane, factless ideas liberals believe in just keeps growing.
Whether it’s the idea that “post-birth abortion” isn’t murder, or that using the word vagina is a form of “hate speech” or some other left-wing fantastical tripe, the globalist agenda to debase humanity is running at an all-time high. See more coverage of stories like this at Stupid.news.
