One of the latest political tools used by Left-wing activists and Democrats in an age where Trump Derangement Syndrome has become epidemic is “doxxing,” the act of placing the names and personal information of people on social media so they can be “identified” as political opponents and then stalked, harassed, and — eventually — harmed.
And frankly, it is way past time to treat this as a criminal act. We can start with the arrest of Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), who bears the same last name as the murderous thug dictators who have ruled Cuba with an iron fist for decades, keeping the people impoverished and oppressed.
As reported by The National Sentinel, Castro — whose twin brother Julian, a former HUD secretary in the Obama regime, is currently running for the Democratic presidential nomination — “doxxed” San Antonio-area donors to POTUS Donald Trump’s campaign for no other reason than to ‘out’ them as enemies of the people whose personal lives and businesses should be disrupted at a minimum and destroyed, at worst:
Joaquin…posted late Monday night on the social media platform that he was “sad to see so many San Antonians on this list of maximum donors to Donald Trump.” He then specifically called out two companies, including a popular BBQ restaurant, and posted a list of 44 donors, with their full names and employers.
As it turns out, this lunatic also doxxed several people who have either donated to his congressional campaigns or his brother’s mayoral campaigns when he was serving as the elected leader of San Antonio. And they aren’t very happy about it.
“I was also on a list of people that gave to Castro and if he dislikes me enough that he wants to put my name out there against Trump, I’m not going to give money to him,” Wayne Harwell, owner of a local real estate development company, told Fox News. “Obviously Castro feels pretty strongly against me.”
“It is just amazing to me that he would do that,” William Greehey, a philanthropist and former CEO of Valero Energy, told the Washington Examiner. “Then he’s calling me a racist because I’m supporting Trump. I mean, this is just ridiculous.”
Others who were doxxed noted they are now concerned for their safety and that of their families. (Related: Twitter actively protecting DOXXING posts by left-wing domestic terrorist groups that target conservative Americans… time to arrest Jack Dorsey for aiding and abetting terrorism?)
“Were his intentions to incite people to picket Bill Miller’s barbecue or to come to Don Kuyrkendall’s house, you know, assault my wife, make nasty comments?” said Kuyrkendall, president of a San Antonio commercial real estate company. “Life is short and this kind of silliness is not good for anybody, especially with the climate we have right now with two mass shootings in a weekend.”
He’s absolutely right. The whole purpose behind doxxing people is to draw attention to them and make them targets of hatred and retribution — financial, certainly, but also socially and, eventually, physically. Because you know that’s coming.
Consider what happened earlier this year to Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s family. While he was on the air one evening, more than a dozen Antifa-linked ‘protestors’ besieged his home, banged on his door, and terrorized his family after posting on social media that the Daily Caller founder and his family “were not safe.”
Many people who have been doxxed — not all of them rock-ribbed conservatives and Trump supporters — have talked about feeling under siege and unsafe. And why shouldn’t they? Leading Democratic politicians including Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey, an also-ran Democratic presidential contender, and Rep. Maxine Waters of California, have called for supporters to physically “confront” Trump administration officials and their supporters in public.
Enough already. The political climate in America is a tinderbox, and it’s become one thanks almost solely to the Democrat Party and their unhinged, increasingly unstable followers.
It’s time to start arresting doxxers for violating the privacy rights of others and endangering them.
It’s not a “free speech” issue anymore than yelling “fire” in a crowded theater or slander are forms of allowable speech. Arresting Castro would be a great way for the Justice Department to send a message to all Americans when it comes to this disturbing practice: “No more.”
